Every interaction I've had here has been fantastic ? from the owner, to the service technicians who've worked on my vehicles, to the friendly staff at the front desk (shout out to Andy for his fabulous customer service ALWAYS!) . Their rates are very reasonable, and they've always done exactly what they said they would. They stand by their work, and I've never had a single issue with anything they've repaired or serviced from major work completed with a rear differential replacement all the way to just stopping in to have one of my 37? tires plugged from snagging a nail on the road. Heck, even if I just have a mechanical question Andy has always been there willing to chat. What really sets them apart is their honesty. They don't sugarcoat or try to upsell unnecessary work ? they're straight with you, and that means a lot. On top of that, they're friendly, genuine, and just good people. Honestly, these have been the best experiences I've ever had at any automotive service establishment in my adult life. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Cannot say enough great things about this place! My daughter and I were on our way to Gulfport for a softball tournament and stopped in Slidell for breakfast. After coming out and trying to start the jeep it wouldn't start. Long story short I googled automotive places in the area and thankfully this place showed up! After having my husband call and talk to the owner, my daughter and I had a tow truck come and tow it to their shop. They got right on the problem and had us running in no time! Best mechanic I've ever been to! My car broke down in Slidell when I was coming from Seattle, WA and Andy took the best care of me as I was stranded in a town I knew nothing about. He ordered the parts even though they were hard to find and the mechanics even stayed late to figure out what was going on and how to fix it. I broke down on the interstate on my way to New Orleans with my wife and dog, and did a quick google search on auto repair centers in the area. After calling a few places I spoke with Dale from Auto Center/Slidell who was very friendly on the phone. Being from out of town it was kind of crap shoot, but Dale made me feel confident that this was the right place?and we I couldn't have done better with my pick if I tried. When we arrived with my vehicle they were ready for us, and said they would get us back on the road by the next day. Dale went as far as finding us a room for the night and even drove us there?southern hospitality at its finest. The next morning I received a call/quote on the repair in the morning from Josh, which seemed fair for the work being done (Alternator on my Honda Pilot). They had us back in the road by noon?unbelievably efficient. Dale, who turned out to be the owner, went above and beyond and even applied a discount for good measure, which was incredibly kind. I would recommend Automotive Center of Slidell to anyone who wants to be treated kindly, and be treated fairly, along with having the work done timely and efficiently. I blew a tire not far from their shop. I was running on my spare and another tire need to be changed. They ordered two tires, replaced the blown tire while I was at work. I got off a bit early and went by, they changed both tires, put my spare away and I was down the road in no time. Their prices were better than some other places I called as well.

Travelling west with our 5th wheel, we discovered the brake on our F250 had seized and needed it looked at. Googled and found this place close to our location. The owner, Dale, and Josh and Richard were very helpful to us (out of stater's) getting us back up and running. Parts would be in the next day so we spent the night. We broke down and we're towed to Slidell at 4:55 on Friday and we're helped out like a family member. The owner took us to a nearby hotel, and even offered his carded discount on the rate. On Saturday, they were open and worked on my truck. They checked out the truck and ordered the part, made the repair and when finished picked us up at the restaurant we were at to take us to our truck. Just as good as my service from my Fort Collins, CO mechanic, Hawker's auto.

Got my tires changed here. Everything went well. I thought they took a little longer than expected. But when I went to get into my car, I noticed they had fixed my bumper that had come loose in a fender bender I got into. I had to go back in and thank them for fixing it. And they did it at no charge!

I do my own car maintenance and repairs when possible, but mounting/balancing tire jobs go to the shop. Being the cheap-ass I am, I scoured the internet for the best possible deal for tires on the net. Then I brought them to this shop for installation. Very friendly service. $170 out the door for 4 tires mounted/balanced and a full front & rear alignment (which was certainly needed). The car rides like new. I feel this was a reasonable price for a well done job. I will be a repeat customer.

First time there; thought my breaks were bad. Got a call shortly after dropping my car off and they informed me my pads were fine. After troubleshooting they said they determined it was a leak in the booster break. They then looked into it and found out ford had an extended warranty on it for being a common issue with my model. Long story short, the guy called and said "we could charge you 5 or 6 hundred dollars and do it ourselves but you're still in warranty and ford will fix it for free"... hard to find business like this these days. On top of that they printed out the warranty information on it, left a bag of candy in the car for the kids, and even cleaned the mud off my tires! I def recommend this place to anybody and surely will be going back!

The owner Scot and their service advisor Kelly are both amazing people. My husband & I drove to Louisiana for a vacation during a holiday weekend & my car broke down outside of their repair center. All the local shops wouldn't be able to even look at my car until after the weekend, but I needed to be back home before then. They came to our rescue & drove us to our hotel (45 mins away), fixed our car even when they weren't open, & drove the car to our hotel when it was fixed so we could enjoy our vacation.
